Derrick Von Stein Joins Stratos Team as Facilities Group Manager

ServiceMaster by Stratos today announced the recent addition of Derrick Von Stein to its management team.

As the franchise’s newest facilities group manager, Von Stein will be responsible for Stratos’ 53 service partners who maintain the cleanliness of the FedExForum and AutoZone Park. Prior to joining ServiceMaster by Stratos, the Memphis native spent six years with Nuvasive Inc., an innovative medical device company focused on developing minimally disruptive surgical products and procedures for the spine, where he served as senior manager for field inventory and billing. In this position, Von Stein oversaw the performance, utilization, inventory and auditing of approximately $200 million of medical equipment across the domestic U.S. and handled the billing of all surgeries and procedures performed. His previous experience also includes 10 years at Pinnacle Airlines, where he served as regional director and handled lease contracts, staffing, capital purchases for ground equipment and customer service for 35 cities.

Aside from his professional career, Von Stein, like Stratos, dedicates time to beautifying the Bluff City. He is a former board member for Greater Memphis Greenline, an organization responsible for the conversion of abandoned railways in the Memphis area. Following his time on the board, the husband and father developed a group in his neighborhood that cleans a portion of the Greenline once a month. The group also led an annual fundraising campaign in an effort to raise money for Shelby County to provide a developed access point in their neighborhood. As a result, construction is scheduled to begin in the fall.
